— Now on view
The rooms
where light lingers.
A photographic exhibition by Elena Marchetti — six chapters, one continuous room. Scroll to walk through.

A wide sky,
two promises.
Photographed beneath the open sky in the Maasai Mara. The procession moved through the landscape for only a few minutes; the photograph keeps the rhythm of it.

Three chapters
Choose your story.
Each chapter carries its own light, its own tempo. Pause over a frame to bring it forward, then step inside.
Selected moments,
loosely arranged.
A changing edit from every chapter. Refresh the exhibition and a different set of photographs steps forward.

Behind the lens
I photograph the seconds no one thinks to remember.
My name is Elena. I shoot on film because film waits. It asks you to slow down, to feel the room before you press the shutter. The result is a photograph that remembers the way you felt, not just the way you looked.
I photograph weddings, graduations, celebrations, and the quiet in-between. I keep the calendar small and the attention large — a handful of stories a year, each one carried like a first edition.
The experience
Four movements, no rush.
The conversation
A slow call. We talk about people, place, and what you want the photograph to remember.
The plan
A hand-written treatment: locations, light windows, wardrobe, a shot list you'll never see.
The day
I disappear. You live. I photograph what actually happens — not what was supposed to.
The delivery
A hand-bound proof book at four weeks. A private gallery. Prints, on request, for the wall.
Client stories
“Elena didn't shoot our wedding. She wrote it down in light. We open the book weekly.”
Booking
Let's write your chapter.
I take on a small number of stories each year. Tell me about yours — no form, more of a letter. I'll write back within two days.
